The face of our industry is changing, and it’s time we address it. We cannot deliver projects the way we did 50 years ago. We need to be creative, innovative and cutting edge. We need to deliver projects faster with fewer people. The only way to accomplish this is through team collaboration beginning on day ONE of a project. Typically, people in our field don’t consider industrial projects design-build—those days are over. Through collaboration, prefabrication, modularization and off-site construction, the future of construction is a collaborative design-build process.
