Deputy Director Khalil Jaber will give an overview of the Nebraska Department of Transportations’ (NDOT) response to the historic and devastating March 2019 flooding. State Damages include 27 bridges and ~200 miles of pavement totaling ~$130M.
Khalil Jaber was appointed the Deputy Director – Engineering for NDOT in August of 2012. Prior to that, he was the Program Management Engineer, the Public Transportation Engineer in the Rail and Transit Sections, a Project Engineer and Consultant Coordinator in Roadway Design, and a field Project Manager in District Five, Bridgeport Office. He has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Kansas State University, and is a Registered Professional Engineer and a Project Management Professional. Khalil is married and has two children.
