At just over one million square feet, the Kansas City International Airport New Terminal is the largest single infrastructure project in the City’s history. The design-build team of Clark | Weitz | Clarkson (CWC) and Skidmore Owings & Merrill (SOM) is committed to bringing thousands of new jobs and opportunities for Kansas City businesses through the design and construction of the new KCI Airport Terminal.
With construction of the $1.5B modern single terminal at KCI officially underway, members of the CWC / SOM team — and their design-build subcontractors — will share insights into the largest design-build project in the region. The presentation will touch on teaming; project scope and schedule; early procurement; design team coordination and design efficiency; balancing colocation through joint office space; design-build and design-assist subs and design-assist role and will touch on constructability and live budgeting.
Please join us for this presentation that will dive into different aspects of the design-build approach.
Event is co-hosted by DBIA, WCOE and KCASA.
